Is there a place where the amount for “owner’s equity” or “shareholder's equity" should be entered?

The beauty of our system is that by entering all of the company assets AND all of the company liabilities, the total equity (book value) is derived automatically, i.e. as per the accounting equation: Assets minus Liabilities equals Owner's Equity

Just look at total assets entered and total liabilities entered and subtract the latter from the former to obtain owner's or shareholder's equity.
