How Are Pre-Valuations Calculated In The Prospecting Tool?
The pre-valuations are based on revenue levels and imputed profit and discretionary earnings margins based on current market data. In effect, the companies are valued as if they were "average" in nature. Meaning the actual value may be modestly lower or higher but this is a good baseline estimate to gauge approximate size.
We leverage a large number of publically available data sources and run the information we are able to collect through our system to calculate the Estimated Business Value.
